Greetings From Our BHCC Interns – June 2016

Overall, the last Eat and Meet for the church year on May 15 was a great night! Unfortunately, the youth trip to Crestfield was canceled at the last minute due to weather. However, it was still a joy being at the church for this last gathering. The 4th graders joined us for their first Eat and Meet ever. For dinner, we enjoyed sloppy joes, pierogies, plus two delicious cookie cakes made by Nate and Ellie Rising. Pastor Brian taught us a unique way to pray which brought about a healthy discussion among the group. Finally, to end the night, we had fun playing a game of sardines.

Sadly, after weeks of Sunday school and months of Eat and Meet, our time at Bower Hill has come to a close for the season. While we are disappointed it is ending, we are excited for the summer. Each of us will be a part of Crestfield’s summer staff. Tyler is the day camp coordinator for the Summer and on July 11 – 15, he will be back coordinating VBS here. It is going to be a blast, and your kids will not want to miss it. Jeremiah is the Mission Possible coordinator, helping to coordinate mission projects for the youth groups that attend camp. While our internship has officially ended for the year, you’ll likely see us again. Once again, thank you for all your kind words and hospitality this past year. It was a pleasure being a part of Bower Hill.

Sincerely,
Jeremiah Wagner and Tyler Musher
