How Can You Help Local Flood Victims?

On Wednesday, June 20, the South Hills received 4 1/2 inches of rain in just 20 minutes resulting in one tragic drowning fatality and causing extensive damage in many areas, especially along McLaughlin Run which flows through Upper St Clair and Bridgeville. Some areas in Bridgeville were especially hard hit. Holy Child Catholic Church and First United Methodist Church, both in Bridgeville, are two congregations requesting donations for flood victims. If you would like to help our neighbors in need, the following items are being collected and distributed by each church:

First United Methodist Church, 244 Station Street, Bridgeville, PA 15017 — (412) 221-5577
Requests: All Cleaning Supplies, especially Borax and Sponge Mops; Gift Cards, especially Walmart, Target, Home Depot.

Holy Child Catholic Church, 212 Station Street, Bridgeville, PA 15017—(412) 221-5213
Requests: Small Appliances, Furniture, Washers, Dryers
Note: As there is little storage space, please call the Church and give contact information regarding your donation.
