Sandi’s Garden – Just Keeps Going and Going
Sandi’s Garden is having its most bountiful year ever. Our contributions to date this year, 260 pounds of fresh organic vegetables, are at a level we didn’t see until the end of September last year. This Sunday following the Time With Children, our children will glean our second bean crop and start planting our fall crops. This is a great opportunity for our children to be an important part of our mission to the SHIM food pantry and connect with a tradition rooted in our faith.
There are still time slots available for individuals or families to sign up to water the garden beds and make this the most successful year ever for Sandi’s Garden.
