Children & Youth - 9th to 12th Grade
What to expect on Sundays?
Students in high school remain in worship.
Confirmation class, typically for 9th-10th graders, meets Sunday during second hour from 11-12pm.
Older youth who wish to help with the Sunday morning children’s worship are scheduled to serve as helpers and activity leaders. This gift of time benefits both the younger kids – who look up to the older youth and the older youth alike – who have a chance to share and model their faith for younger kids.
The congregation gathers in Fellowship Hall for coffee, snacks, and fellowship each Sunday after worship from 10:30 – 11:00 a.m.

Sunday Afternoon Meetups
During the school year, the senior high youth group meets twice a month after worship. Youth go out for brunch at a local eatery, typically the second Sunday of the month. The fourth Sunday, Pastor Brian meets with youth for a theme-based discussion topic.
During summer months, several ministry volunteer options are open to high school youth. Volunteer hours earned can be credited to high school or organization requirements.

VBS. Bower Hill's summer VBS takes place the week of July 31-Aug 4. High school youth are invited to help lead in the morning, when pre-school through 2nd grade attend, and/or from noon- 3 p.m. when older kids 3rd – 8th grade stay for more in-depth activities just for them. Youth volunteers are asked to pay for their shirts ($15), so registration is required. Click here to register for 2023 VBS.
