Joint Worship Service Video

On February 17, 2019, Bower Hill Community Church and First Baptist Church of Bridgeville held a joint worship service followed by brunch which was hosted by First Baptist. Rev. Snyder’s sermon included a sermon delivered on March 28, 1965 by Rev. Barker after his return from the march in Selma, Alabama.

20190217 Joint Worship Part 1 – Prelude to the Sermon – 23 minutes includes the Prelude performed by First Baptist’s worship band, Call to Worship, Welcome and Announcements, Minute for Mission, The Peace and Time for Children. In the Minute for Mission Deacon Ray gives a history of the First Baptist Church, the results of the flooding of Chartiers creek, moving services to Bower Hill and hopes for the future. 20190217 Joint Worship Part 2 – Sermon – 27 minutes includes the reading of the First and Second Scripture lessons and the Sermon.

20190217 Joint Worship Part 3 – Choral Anthem – 6 minutes includes the Choral Anthem “O Happy Day” performed by the First Baptist’s Worship Band and Bower Hill’s choir.

20190217 Joint Worship Part 4 – Postlude After Choral Anthem – 13 minutes includes the Closing Hymn, Charge and Blessing and the Postlude performed by the First Baptist Worship Band.
