I am thrilled to be back at BHCC. earliest memories from childhood are from this very church; attending Begindergarten, singing in choir, being in the Brownie/Girl Scout troop, sitting in the small chapel, worshipping in the beautiful sanctuary, and staring at the lighted steeple just outside of my bedroom window. it seems like yesterday a lot has happened since those early years. am a graduate of Mt. Lebanon High School and of Grove City College (BA – Accounting). being the Credit and Advertising Accounting Manager of the Pittsburgh Press/ Post-Gazette for 14 years, I resigned in 1997 to become a stay at home mother when I married Fred. was 12. Chris was 11. Zach was 8 and Jeff was 6. the next eleven years we did our best to make them live up to their highest potential, teach each to drive, find their college, work a minimum wage job and guide them in discovering who they wanted to be. with family obligations, I was the accountant for Magee-Womens HospitalGift Shop as well as a volunteer.

Our family is growing as we have welcomed Chris’s wife, Michelle in 2014, Josh’s fiancé, Chrystan (Feb ‘18 wedding) and dear sweet first grandchild, Hunter.

Fred is retired and excited to be Pastor Associate. I work part time for Weight Watchers, leading and supporting members to reach their goals. addition to working, I treasure time spent with family, especially my parents. relaxation I enjoy working in the yard, walking, reading and knitting.

One morning, I spent time in the memorial garden reading the names of those who are there. quickly realized that I was not reading the names, I was actually remembering the former neighbor/family friend. was at that moment I knew I was home.
