Our own Peter Smith won an award at the annual conference of the Religion News Association on September 15 in Columbus, Ohio. In the category of Large Newspapers and Wire Services, he placed third for excellence in religious reporting. The judges cited his articles on cremation and on the 500th anniversary of the Protestant Reformation.
