Tai Chi For Health Pittsburgh at BHCC

Quiet Your Mind, Nurture Your Body, Lift Your Spirits

Tai chi is a centuries-old practice designed to enhance health and mobility.  It engages body, mind and spirit through a series of gentle, flowing movements.  Classes address breathing, core support, body alignment and awareness.  It is known to elevate mood, improve sleep, boost immunity and reduce pain.

The mission of Tai Chi for Health Pittsburgh is to provide quality Tai Chi classes accessible to people of all ages and abilities.

The instructor is Gurney Bolster, MA, Dance/Movement Therapy; Senior Trainer, Tai Chi for Health Institute.

Classes are offered in 6-week cycles @ $60 per cycle, one class per week as follows:

Tuesday:         Tai Chi Fan — 6:00-7:00 p.m. (Rm. 208)

Wednesday:  Level 1, 6:30-7:30 p.m.  (FH)

Level 2, 7:30-8:30 p.m.  (FH)

Thursday        Level 1, 11:00 a.m.-noon  (FH)

Level 2, 12:15-1:15 p.m.  (FH)

Sun 73 Forms, 1:30-2:30 p.m.  (FH)
