Fall Adult Education Classes Start September 18

Adult Education classes will resume on September 18 at 11:00 a.m. We will be meeting in-person in the Friendship Room and offering an online option as well.

This year’s theme is “Service and Servanthood”. Through our sessions we will explore Jesus’ call to serve rather than be served as in Matthew 20:26b-28a: “…but whoever wishes to be great among you must be your servant, and whoever wishes to be first among you must be your slave, just as the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve…” We also will explore spiritual disciplines that prepare us for service, the opportunities we have for service in church, community, and the wider world as well as consider the historical and present day role models whose lives have been dedicated to serving others.
