Get Outdoors – December 6 – Moon Park - Lunar Loop

Located in Moon Township is Moon Park which encompasses 300 acres. The park is a typical

township park with sports fields, pavilions and an amphitheater. We will hike the Lunar Loop Trail

which goes around the park. The trail is 3.1 miles long, but we may add the Hollow Oak Trail which

would add another 1.2 miles. Most of the trail appears to follow the ridges but there will be some hills

to traverse. It looks like most of the trail will be in the woods.
