75th Anniversary News and Save the Dates

The summer is upon us and so begins the quiet season at BHCC. But it’s never too early to put the events planned for celebrating the 75th Anniversary on your calendar!

Our first event will be held on September 7. Even though, we weren’t officially chartered in September of 1950, our first worship service was held on September 10, 1950, and should be celebrated!

This is typically the date that we hold Kick Off Sunday with breakfast before the service, followed by worship and enjoying breakfast leftovers with other activities after the service. But this year we will skip breakfast. Instead, there will be a special worship service followed by a Homecoming Potluck with special activities planned to honor our past, present and future.

Homecoming Sunday will be the first of several major celebrations that are being planned between September 2025 through May of 2026 to celebrate this major milestone, so make sure you mark all these important dates on your calendars!
