Upcoming Youth Group Meet-ups & Summer Plans
Youth group meetings wind down during the summer. Both groups have their last meetings for the school year on Sunday, June 4 .
• June 4 – 10:45 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Senior High trip to play Laser tag. Check GroupMe or our website for updates.
• June 4 - 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. 3rd-8th grade youth group in room 110. Don’t miss this end of year event, including a year in
review of pictures, and share some "best of" memories.
Several ministry options are open to older youth grades 3 and up during the summer.
• Summer Sunday School - Every Sunday beginning May 28, kids are invited to join us in room 110 at 9:30 a.m. for Summer Sunday School. All kids, preschool (potty-trained) through 5th grade will be combined in room 110 to hear a short Bible-based lesson and then have time to socialize and enjoy our playground. Older youth are invited to help lead activities like chalk, crafting, or bubbles.
• VBS - Older youth may help lead Bower Hill's summer VBS which runs the week of July 31 - August 4. See below for details. Youth volunteers are asked to pay for their shirts; supplies will be covered. Click here to register for 2023 VBS.
• 3rd – 8th Grade Youth Adventure Camp at Crestfield July 9-14 - Don’t miss out on our first-ever youth group week at Crestfield this summer. The week will be balanced with lots of fun while discovering God’s Word and growing our spiritual life. Get all the details on the new youth activities page.
High School Mission Trip Update
A team of 8 people, 6 youth and 2 adults, leave on Saturday, July 1, for a week-long mission trip to Puerto Rico through Praying Pelican Missions. We invite you to join us in worship on Sunday, June 25, for a special blessing and sendoff.

Work is underway to streamline how youth program event details and registrations are shared with families. A new page on the church website has been created to make it easier for families to find the details on upcoming youth events. For the next few
months, information will be shared via email and updated on the new on-line Youth Activities
Summer Sunday School – Volunteers Needed

Blast Off with Bower Hill's VBS: July 31-August 4
Join us as we journey to Mars and Beyond on an adventure to explore God's love through music, craft, games and fellowship together. NEW THIS YEAR: both campers and older youth volunteers must register to provide t-shirt sizes and emergency contact information. Youth volunteers are asked to pay for their shirts; supplies will be covered. Click here to register for 2023 VBS.
When: July 31- August 4
Who: Pre-school (must be potty-trained) through 2nd grade can be campers. 3rd grade and up can register to volunteer. Youth age 18 and over please signup as adults.
Times: 9:30 a.m. - noon, with 3rd graders and up staying until 3:00 p.m. each day.
The cost is $30 for younger campers (pre-k through 2nd grade) and includes all supplies and a t-shirt. Older youth volunteers pay $15 to cover their t-shirt cost.
We are also seeking adult (18 and older) volunteers to help with VBS. Whether you can help all week, a few days, or even preparing before VBS week – there’s a spot for you to serve in this fun ministry. Adults – click here to volunteer for 2023 VBS.
