Bower Hill Community Church was thrilled to host the Mt. Lebanon High School Choir’s fantastic Masterworks Concert on Wednesday, April 2, 2024. We welcomed 130 singers to our chancel and 200 of their friends and family to our Sanctuary. It was an incredible evening. Some conversations excerpts – “I’ve walked by this church hundreds of times but have never been inside! It’s beautiful!” “What an incredible acoustic!” A student reported to his mom, “the lady from the church (Anne Smith or Kirsten Bruder) told us we sounded really good.”
MUSIC WITH A TWIST
Music with a Twist is hosting a Kletzmer themed summer string festival at Bower Hill Community Church from July 15-19 (9am-1pm) for string players ages 9-16 years of age. Mellon and TRYPO conductor Pierce Cook will join featured artists Steven Greenman, violin, and Christine Crowder, accordion, to make for a fantastic experience. https://www.musicwithatwist.org/
