On August 12, 2023, a group of 7 members of Bower Hill Community Church hiked two of the parks in Mt. Lebanon. We started at Twin Hills Park. Twin Hills is one of those secluded parks only accessible from a street in one of the neighborhoods rather than a main road. One of the first features we saw was a wooden structure that overlooks a valley from which you can sit and observe the birds. While the trails are not long there is a nice variety to chose. We then traveled to Bird Park. We chose to walk the outer loop of the park. It was great weather to get out and enjoy our local parks.
