Inter Generational Mission Opportunities

There are new opportunities for adults and youth to work together to serve others. Please prayerfully consider participating in one of these events as a family, and/or encourage your youth to volunteer.

• Saturday, November 15, 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – We will head to Christ UMC to participate in Amen 2 Actions’ Food Packing event. Please signup using this link.

• Sunday, November 23, 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. –We are partnering with Carnegie Presbyterian to provide carryout meals for their New Hope Worship Center. We will meet in Bower Hill’s kitchen to prep a main dish, side and dessert.

• Friday, November 28, 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. – We will head to Bishop Canevin High School to participate in Amen 2 Actions’ Food Packing event. Please signup using this link.

Deck the Halls - Sunday, November 30

Many hands make light work! Please join us immediately following coffee hour on Sunday, November 30, to help prepare the church for advent and Christmas. This is a combined worship Sunday with First Baptist, so the service begins at 10:00 a.m. There will be no second hour classes that day so everyone can help. Childcare will be available in room 110.

Children’s Christmas Pageant Bower Hill is excited to prepare for a children's Christmas pageant this year which will be performed during 9:30 a.m. worship on Sunday, December 7. Kids will use the time in Sunday school during the weeks leading up to it to prepare. Older youth will be engaged to work on props.
