The Mission Committee has recently become a supporter of Casa San Jose in Beechview, both monetarily out of our Mission Budget and through our Angel Trees. We became involved in the work of Casa as part of our interest in issues related to immigration. It was started in 2013 by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Baden to be a resource center for Latino immigrants. Casa’s mission is to connect, support, and advocate with and for the Latino community.
