Get Outdoors - Harrison Hills Park - August 2, 2025

On August 2, 2025, a group of 5 members of Bower Hill Community Church hiked the trails in Harrison Hills Park. Weather was great 70 degrees, and no rain. We parked by Bob White shelter and took a connector trail to the Rachel Carson trail. We walked along the cliffs above the Allegheny River. Occasionally, through the trees we had great view of the river below. The trail took us closer to Freeport. After a few hills, we had a great view just above Freeport. The trail turned in a loop heading back to the center of the park. We walked thorough an open plateau and eventually ended up at the Environmental Center. After a short hike down the hill, we arrived back at the car.
